Outlook, sharing contacts, and smart phones

For work I keep track of all the guys in the field and I keep a very good contact list and supervisors and others really like how I have this set up. I use to just email people a copy, they make a contact folder, and they add the contact "cards" to their outlook and all is set. With the Microsoft Exchange Server this keeps their smart phones updated also.
Now I figured out how people can see my contact list by sharing in and they can see the same info in their outlook. This is nice because any change I make, it updates whoever is on my sharing list automatically. I also can have contacts set as private so people sharing from mine can't see some contacts I don't want them to see. Now the issue with this, this idea will not let people see the contact list on their smart phone. I have it set up as a "Read" only because I don't want people make changes. How can I make this so people can see this contact list on their smart phones?

Thank you
