Smartphone Samsung S3 and antivirus?

Everything has been great with the new S3. But today for the 2nd time since I got the phone, my Hotmail account has sent out spam emails. I know its coming from the phone as I had a contact in there that I do not show anywhere else. I think I picked that up when they set up the phone and all the accounts were merged on the phone contact list.

Anyway, is there a way to stop this? Does anyone recommend using or which antivirus to use? My breif query in the web says Lookout is good. Im open for suggestions.

easy,

stop using hotmail.

Its unrelated to your phone it has to do with how people are cracking hotmails security that day.

They have had these issues for years, come taste the gmail koolaid.

I deleted all my hotmail contacts and changed my password years ago when the first wave of hotmail spammers hit. No problems since.
To answer your question, I use Lookout on my SIII.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

The only reason I think it has something to do with the phone is because of the one contact in there that is not one of my hotmail contacts. I honestly do not know where that contact came from since its someone my brother used to work with. When I got the new phone and Best Buy set it up it pulled in a bunch of contacts I do not know or remember.

As far as deleting Hotmail. I could, but Ive had that email address for a very long time and these 2 incidents are the only issue I have ever had with the 3 hotmail accounts I use.

I think Lookout is the way to go for now.
