Been using it for 4 months.

Great phone.

Battery lasts throughout the day with heavy usage.
Latest updates, including 4.1 Jelly Bean
Super fast UI

Only gripes are:
Speaker is not loud enough (can download an app to make it louder)
Screen brightness is not up to par with other phones, especially in outdoor lighting.

I'd definitely buy it for that price.

It's free right now with Sprint contract. Seems like a nice phone. Though Sprint sucks if you haven't heard.

I've got both the GSM and CDMA versions. The update to Jelly Bean is awesome, and the OS is great in general.

On the other hand of the phone itself, the camera sucks at night; the snap-on back plate is cheap; the speaker is worthless (can't hear it ringing most of the time); and any contract version (Sprint/Verizon/etc) blows ass. If you decide to get a contract version, immediately replace it with CM9 or CM10.

If I would get one it would be of contract, 349$ it's not bad.
I had EVO 4G (good phone) on Sprint - service was a fucking nightmare. Dumped sprint and started to use old Iphone 3G on T-mobile, 54$ all good but internet slow (edge), so I switched to Straight Talk 45$ all unlimited on ATT towers and 3G works pretty good. So Nexus + straight talk would = not bad of a deal.

What's the name of app to.make louder? I don't want to root at the moment.

I love my nexus, I've owned all 3 of the nexus phones. All are good phones.
