My only other thought on this is that a virus possibly did some registry damage.
Was office installed and running fine for a period of time before the problems?
Did the problem appear after an update for the os or office, or install of another program?
Is this a new printer? Tony mentioned it was networked...is the computer that it is physically attached too running the same OS? Or is it on a print server?
Is it only one file in Word, or any file in Word? If you open a Word file from a disk created on another computer does it print reverse too?
There are so many variables....dont know where to start without sitting in front of it.
To rule Office out as the problem (or confirm it is the problem), I would re-install office. I know its cliche, but it tends to work if you changed a setting inadvertantly and cant find how to change it back.............
Sorry I cant be of more help Tony.......
Edit: Do you have another printer laying around? If you do install it locally (on the computer you're having the problem) and see if it prints right. If it does, your problem lies with the All-in-one driver or spool format, if it doesnt, at least you know its an issue with Word.
