Okay you techno :robewizar I have been experiementing with a SanDisk 1.0 gb card and my Nikon Coolpix E4200 camera. I have been shooting little mov files about 43 seconds. Which I download off the camera using Comcast Photoshow. I started wondering exactly how much I could put on the card and how long it would take to download from the camera, so I set up the camera on the "Movie" setting pushed the button and walked away. I came back 30 minutes later and the camera had shut itself down. So I decided to playback the mov file, which I have done in the past, I turn on the camera, and the following message is displayed "This Card cannot be used!", so I immediately think the card is full, I have to downloaded the movie to the computer, I plugged the camera into the computer via the supplied USB cable turn the camera back on, and wait for Photoshow to recognize the camera, which it doesn't, so I cannot download the mov file. So, I think I'll re-format the card using the camera, it won't allow me to select format card option. None of my computers have a card reader built in. So how do I proceed?
A liitle history on the camera, it's about two years old, I have never updated the firmware? The SanDisk card was an recent ebay purchase, but I used it successfully a few times.
Remember I'm a complete maroon on this shit, so no computer speak, plain english please!
