Windows Users BEWARE!

I am not sure if everyone is up to date on this, but I thought it might be a good alert since it is a pretty serious vulnerability...

Good lookin' out!

I laughed at the title.

Sounded redundant, get a Mac. No worries....

I heard about something like this months ago. What you could do is ***** script and/or code into JPG/GIF files, and EML files (which are outlook email).

People would include these in websites, or directly in emails, and it would remotely execute script, which would downoad and install a trojan or execute a virus/worm on your computer.

Fun Stuff =)

glad i got a mac..no worries!!!!

Wikipedia - Adrenaline Junkie - An adrenaline junkie is somebody who feels as if they are addicted to adrenaline. Adrenaline junkies may enjoy competing in extreme sports like skydiving, surfing, motorcycle racing, or anything else that gets their heart rate up. This sort of addiction is brought on by enjoying the (adrenaline) "rush" gained from these activities.

Yeah you fuckers with Macs have no worries until you go and try to buy any piece of software that wont run through your PC emulator. Good luck finding a decent 3d modeling program. I plan on getting a Mac mini but only to act as a movie holding box near the TV.

For the other 99.99% of people that don't do 3d modeling, the Mac would be the computer with no problems :P

And Modo is a very good and fully capable 3d modeler for a Mac

why the hell would I want to slow my mac down with some crappy PC emulator?

as for 3d here are some cheap apps: http://www.3dlinks.com/links.cfm?cat...ubcategoryid=2

and here are a couple that are bit better: Maya and RenderMan

As far as the other 99.4% of the world, Office does about everything that most humans need. As far as 3D modeling, Director and 3D in a virtual version was first done on a Mac. Just like the first version of Office was from a Mac.

Photoshop, PageMaker, Quark... for the most part all of the major apps are from the Mac.

But hey, I still have a piece of shit PC on my desk for when I have to use my AutoCrap (CAD). As a matter of fact, I have a few PCs on my desk and one Mac. That way I always have a Mac that works, and at least ONE PC that hasn't crashed or formatted itself yet.
