Where to order hardware???

I need to get some miscellaneous hardware for my computer like ram, hard disk etc. The prices at best buy/circuit city seem to be really high and I did find some great deals online. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to where to order from??

Thanks

I really like newegg.com. Pretty good prices, and they have been good with returns. Also, check out bensbargains.net. They have a lot of computer hardware sales.

Super place to order stuff online is
www.newegg.com
or
www.zipzoomfly.com (most of a stuff is 2-day free shipping)

Both of them having a good prices, and tons of stuff.

You can try also Micro Center in Chicago or Tiger Direct in Naperville (dont trust Tiger Direct on mail in rabate, most of the time is scam).

newegg.com - very moderate prices, huge selection, best customer service. you can probably find places slightly cheaper, but I still recommend them for possible returns/exchanges.

I order 90% of my stuff from newegg, fast shipping, great prices, latest stuff, great customer service. Now if I do look around for the price of something and find it cheaper somewhere else, (pricewatch type of sites) I always look to see how much it is at newegg and most of the time the shipping makes the price the same(always check shipping on cheap sites and ebay).

I know what you mean about Best Buy computer part prices. Their parts are almost double market value. I only buy compressed air from them, or if my machine is down and I need it fixed right away; otherwise I shop around on pricewatch.

Tigerdirect is cool too, they have good deals on Hard drives. I go to the South Side one in Orland Park, closer to me.

neweggThey have great return policies. Very easy to deal with. Very easy to exchange merchandise for what ever reason.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

+1 on both these places.

Newegg is great because if you have a defective item you don't need to call for an RMA. A DVD burner I had a long time ago crapped out within 90 days.. I went to the website, filled out the form and had an RMA issued instantly. They told me where to ship it and the turn-around was pretty quick. I've ordered from there numerous times and I've never had a problem.
