This might be a geeky question

Since we have so many IT related questions and the people willing to answer them.... what about an IT/Help forum under Open Forums?

Hey dont bitch, you got to look all cool with your pleather case and cool toy for reading them

LOL its only a half good idea for that reason. I work on the backbone all day and night (obviously since I am at work right now) long so you IT people can have a network to do your work on, not so sure if I want a whole forum to dedicate to it. but it would make it easier to search for issues that may hae already been answered once before.

Tony,

I completely agree with you, and that's why I try to ignore most of the questions, but sometimes those threads clutter up the other useless junk in the Open Forum that I want to waste my time on!

Just an organizational idea... take a look at the last month in Open Forum and you'll see why I stated it... that way if people (like Cookie) don't want to look at it, they just don't have to go into that forum...

I for one wouldn’t have a problem if the IT professionals didn’t answer 1 question, yet left it to those that knows enough to help others further complicate and possible create more damage for the further security of the IT profession.

Not all the questions are problem related... but it was just a suggestion, especially considering half the board is employed in the IT field....

Yeah What would the Forum description be?

This forum is for posting about IT related problems. Feel free to post here if you dont want a reply, but you do want to feel like you tried to fix your problem.

"When in doubt, use full throttle. It may not improve your situation, but it will end the suspense."

Then don't post 'please-help' IT threads on a motorcycle board.
