TV tuner card... video capture

Ok, I'm looking for a TV tuner card (PCI) that I can use to record live TV in MPEG format. I want to create DVD's of this raw data with Pinacle Studio that I already have. There is a major price flux between the low end ones and the higher end ones. What's better than the other?? I don't care if it does HD, I don't care if it has a remote, I don't care if it has audio in/out. I just need it to have a cable in and a cable out, and have the ability to record to raw MPEG. Any suggestions? Anyone ever done this before?

Hauppauge (not sure on spelling) makes some good, average price cards... I bought the ATI All-in-Wonder, but it costs $$$

It's not the fall that hurts... it's the sudden stop at the end...

The All-in-wonder cards are nice, but the video card gets out-dated and then you need to buy a whole new video card. Right now I have the Leadtek TV2000XP and it works well. It is easy to use and schedule programs. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814122221

Hauppauge is probably the mostly widely used and supported card. They make a dual tuner card if you want to record two shows at once. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815116628

Well, I have a card for video capture to work with my Pinacle suite, so, that's not a problem, but I needed something to compress the TV tuner input, so I figured I get one that had both. Does that make sense? Or am I missing something? I bought a card last night, but it is for Digital/Analog, and with no HD service, it was kind of stupid. I'm still fighting with it trying to get the audio to play out of the output of the card. I have a plug from the audio out of the TV card to the mic in on the sound card, and when I record, it's fine, but for regular viewing, I don't hear shit. So, I'm playing with that, but there is no options for how I want my recordings to be... what compression, filetype etc... So, I might take it back and exchange for something else. The one I got is a Norwood Micro, but I'm not sure if I like it yet...

I can select from a menu or create my own settings for compression and quality.
