Please help!!!

I recently moved and kept my pc indoors and in a plastic storage bin well secured. I moved it in my vehicle and nothing happened to it. When I plugged it in at the new house, it is mesed up. It is an E machine and the e machine logo appears when it is turned on. This screen now stays stuck on for about 5-10 mins or so before it continues loading. Once up, it works fine, good speed and all. Any idea what might be wrong with it and how I can make it start right again (faster)? Please help, this is frustrating!!!

go into bios/setup and reload default values.

check a boot setting in bios - for quick

boot order > cd - hdd - floppy - removable

+1

I would try this before rebuilding it.

If this doesn't work. Just leave the PC on and you won't have a problem.

could be called setup mode

it says on the screen
F2 or DEL

or hold keys down to force a keyboard error.

No, I reset the bios, I think. But it didnt help. I hit del and F2 until it came up. Reset to default and it restarted with the same results.

Pending on what area you live in, we can all suggest different places to go in for repair. Do not, under any circumstances use the bigger places like Best Buy...the smaller places almost always do better work. It should be relatively cheap if you bring it in.
