Junk/spam email

It seems as though Im getting more and more junk getting through my spam blockers, 95% of it is mortgage stuff, stock alerts and it seems as though theres a certain group of folks that think my crank is too small

How can I adjust my settings to filter more of this? I have it turned up all the way to filter out the Max whatever that means. Can I put certain words in an email message to be blcked? procedure please?

You answered it, Outlook.

First thing I would try is Microsoft Update, goto the office update link, then update your outlook spam filters, you should see the update after it checks your system.

Other than that, theres not alot you can do unless you get a seperate app to filter the spam.

I cant help you there, we use enterprise class hardware mail gateways and firewalls for our spam-virus mail scanning.

Others on the board may have some suggestions for home use.

Id suggest taking the time to read through these Outlook add-on filters.

You want something you can 'train' because spam senders make a good living out of finding ways to bust through the current rule-sets that are out there.
With a trainable filter.. something pops through.. Train the filter to recognize it going forward
