Switching hard drives question.

My comapny just sent me a new drive as mine is all hosed up. couple of questions.

1. How do you export favorites in firefox, I dont see an option for it.

2. Outlook (exchange): to export you hit file ---> export----> export to a file---->comma seperated

Now when I select inbox, is it going to suck all the info out of my subfolders as well? or do I need to export each subfolder also?

what about managed mail (which is stored on the hard drive)? it seems I cant just select the managed mail folder but have to do each sub folder individually. if I export those folders is it pulling all the messages of the hard drive or do I need to move a folder from somewhere else also?

3. Also any advice on anything else I shoudl move would e appreciated. I want to hit the ground running when I put the new drive in.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

ok just redid it via pst. any other advice? I actually keep my drive pretty tidy as all of my files are in one folder so I dont have to go hunting around. thats already moved to my flash drive.

Or just get the foxmarks plugin, it's a net based sync plugin, it works pretty well.

Grab a free program called SyncBack. I think it's much more flexible than dealing with a briefcase folder. It allows you to set up multiple paths and multiple options (i.e. backup or sync, cleanup empty directories, etc.)
