Windows 98 Question

Sorry another password question. I need to some how disable this, when you start up my computer at work instead of having to type in a password you can bypass it by hitting Esc. I do have the password set, is there anything I can do?

Yes! Exactly. Right now all you have to do is hit escape and it will bipass the password. I want to know how to disable that if I can.

The only way to secure Windows 98 is to shut off the computer and throw the hard drive into space.

that's the only thing I can think off too, without changing the OS. Problem with that is, if ya jack this up ( as in forget the password ), ya might have a harder time getting the computer to be usable again

Most computers have a motherboard dip-switch or jumper to reset the BIOS if the password is forgotten.
