I have service manuals that use IE to view them. IE 7 is no good for them, need 6 or lower.

p.s. they will also not work with Firefox

Yea after doing alittle research your SOL. Your best bet is to run a virtual machine with IE6 on it.

You could have MoparBoyy use the computer, that's a sure way of dumbing it down a bit

Accessing websites that only work with Internet Explorer 6-- Some websites host pages that are hard coded to read the User Agent string, and only accept the value for Internet Explorer 6. You can temporarily appear to the website that you are using Internet Explorer 6 by using the User Agent Utility. The tool will create an instance of Internet Explorer 7 that emulates Internet Explorer 6. Other instances of Internet Explorer 7 will not be affected.

OK, i just tried what Erine said, still no go.

i keep getting an error message when i load the page i want:

Unspecified SIE - Type "" passed to frameset.

Also note, this program is not "online" its all saved on the hard drive. it was on a CD, and i just copied the contents to the hd to make it faster, and dont have to deal with disks. stupid fucken program uses IE to look at everything, GAY. this works fine on the machine with XP and older IE.

I'd build an XP virtual machine and run it using VMware Player or something like that. Probably a bit to complicated a solution for you, though. Sounds like you need an updated version of that software.
