From what I've read it was from 5PM PDT yesterday to 4AM this morning. It's back now but they are expecting delays to continue today as their systems catch up.

Nothing like getting e-mails with a quickness.

It's going to take time for the server to catch up and be back to normal. Mines working like a champ though.

I wish I could throw mine down the sewer, the only reason I have it is for support but people tend to think that if they e-mail me at 8pm that I'll respond to them.

Affected the BES users too (Since all the relaying and encryption is done through the SRP-NA RIM servers), looks like you got a bunch of slackers working there who dont even use their electronic toys and didnt even notice! LOL!

just an fyi for people that think blackberries are something you dont need. when your work provides you with one they begin to believe you'll always respond in a timely manner to messages. So if there is an outtage, and the email sender does not know it, your failure to respond is not a good thing. So a widescale blackberry messaging outtage is a very big deal.

its not a matter of importance, its a matter of superiors expecting accessability. They have no way of knowing blackberry messaging is down, just that you're not responding to emails. The corporate world isn't exactly super happy fun town.

Dude, I am going to buy you a calendar so you can be asured that it is not 1962 anymore - The landscape for "working" has changed in so many fields and if you don"t want to work it that way, they will find someone who will - The days of 9-5 Mon - Fri are GONE Bro - technology is GREAT but it has its price too - I am so use to it now that it does not even make me think twice about it

Hey? Is that 2007? I think it is and look, it's coming your way

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

Ha ha, I got the same deal. We sent out an e-mail informing them and a voicemail to all their voice boxes. But god forbid they check their voicemail.
