Received From

tracks the path back to the originating server and it's writing of the original stamp should (unless it was specifically coded NOT to) tell you the originating IP of the computer that contacted that mail server to send the email out.

http://www.stopspam.org/email/headers.html

I haven't read the whole thing, but it may help.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

That's how they machine a lot of parts now...

And i'd give you a bozo button, but i'm keeping it for myself. I'm an AutoCAD lord.

And is it me, or did the happy meal toys go right down the craphole?

It's true, I once worked for McDonald's. The toys sucked. Especially those fukin Beanie Babies. I intentionally took off work for that shit. We had to hire security!!

she just wants you in her crawl space.

(ok thread officially gone to hell )

normal email leaves a proper header trail per RFC822 standards of all the email relays that it goes through to get from the source to your destination. it's not too hard to read them backwards to see what the hops are that it took to reach you

That's ok...I got the info I needed (thank Arch )

bastardize away

and if I was going to lure someone to my house, it wouldn't be the crawl space...it'd be my back yard cuz someone needs to mow that bitch
