Mac Graphics

Ok, here at work I have to use a Mac. Yes, it's torture but I take it with stride.

Anyways, I never cared but now after a while it's really buggin me.

Problem: While surfing the net sometimes the entire page of site won't load. Maybe I'll get the site's header and some sidebar ads but not the article itself in the center.

Question: Since I've never had to work on a Mac I need to know howl to make it so that the entire webpage of whatever site loads. I know there is no firewall or whatever because this is a very tiny office (me and the boss). He doesn't care but I damn well do! Major pain in the side.

I believe this Mac is using Classic OS9.

Anyone? Anyone?

You're using something that's outdated. That's like asking why in Windows 3.1 is a site like MySpace not displaying correctly with all the flash animations and ads and videos.

Everyone Exaggerates

Yeah, that's what I'm using. He has IE on here as well. Both are crap on this system but for the most part most sites do come up. Text is usually what's missing.

Web page is probably stipulating a font and or size that is non existant, maybe...?

Configure the browser to override and use the default you pick.

also maybe try iCab.

I've never tried it but the claim is...

"iCab is about the only modern, updated web browser option for people NOT running Mac OS X."

Not sure on howl. I'm so pc it ain't funny. Still, no major. I didn't know this system was that old. Mac never did the beige thing so all their computers look the same to me. I'll just surf and then go home to a real computer.
