fax from PC software?

Anyone know of any software (freeware) that would allow me to scan something and fax it to a fax number from my computer?

We had FacSys at my old job that worked well, as well as many fax machines readily available to use but I'm off this week and I sold my car so I don't want to wait for the Mrs to come home or drag the shorty out to find somewhere to fax something.

Maybe I'll try this. Although I'll need to find a computer with a modem. And I call myself an IT professional...

No too helpful but I know you could do it through outlook by just typing something specific in the "to" section.

My main PCs don't have analog modems but my laptop that I hardly use does. I'll try it.

I was spoiled by facsys not needing a modem on the local client.

Yeah, I'm just being lazy hoping there was some fax over IP software or something out there.
