Tunes...

Need help from you n3rds. I currently use Roxio to burn music CD's, and I would like to upload my music CD's that i have purchased (support your band!) onto my laptop, then add it to my Zune. The problem is, whenever the music from the CD is uploaded, all the titles are under 'Track' instead of having the actual titles of the song, making it a PITA to locate a song. Now, if i had more time on my hands, i would do it manually, but then again, i don't save the CD cases so i wouldn't know the names anyways.

So, to get to the point, is there a software/program that can read the CD's along with the titles? TIA

almost any cd ripping software can access online cddb and get the artist, album, track info and code it to the id3 tag during ripping.

id3 is the identification tags for the song
cddb is an online service that stores the tags.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

yeah, its easy

the software that youtr using should have a pull down menu, or right click the song, for instance< and get online info or track info, or album/CD info and it will find it.

If you have no internet anywhere and dont mine taking the time, rename the titles or files (as trhey are also reffered to as) to the title of the song or a name that mean something to you.
