Zelda... Fishing... Wii... WTF?!?!?!

I'm about to throw my wii-mote through the f*cking window. I can't catch a stupid reekfish to save my ass.

Anyone know the trick to catching fish in this f*cked up game? I haven't caught anything since those two at the beginning when the cat steals one. I can't even catch one in the fishing hole. WTF am I doing wrong? I've spent 2.25 hours trying to get a stupid red fish.

Oh, and I do have the coral hook from the Zora brat.

Help me!

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I have a solution, pick up a Xbox 360 with Gears of War and a regular controller . Seriously, I have wanted to try out the Wii, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

BWA's been trying to get me to buy one. I'm holding out until Microsoft drops another hundo off the price. Right now I'd rather blow something up than fish, though, so I might come home with one.

I understand, I waited till year 2 to pick it up myself. I am sure they will drop it a hundo just in time for the Christmas season, so we expect to see you on Xbox Live just in time for Halo 3, with handle GreenChills or NinjaChills .

sounds like real life fishing to me

Operating a motorcycle. So easy, even a caveman can do it. Knowing how to ride? Priceless.

A thread about Zelda on the Wii made you go out and buy a 360? I'd say that's worse than 0 will power

When I bought my Wii, it came with Zelda. I tried it for about 10 minutes and that stupid horse you ride pissed me off. Haven't played Zelda since.

The reekfish?? They really are not that hard to catch, 2 1/2 hrs? You really are special Chills. Are you at the right place? Did you go to zora's domain - leap off the waterfall, and then there are those 2 rocks, the mother and child rocks or whatever, and then there is land somewhere near there. Yeah, I haven't played since winter, but I'm pretty sure that is where they are.

The part that really pissed me off in zelda was the directing that damn wagon while everyone and their mom was trying to burn it down......Yeah, I got so mad I acidentally punched my dog from swinging like a mad man because I was so pissed. I punched my couch a lot that night, and I don't think I've ever been so mad at a video game in my life.

I don't know what any of the buttons do on my Kids Wii !? But I can still press all of them at the same time & kick his butt in Sole Calibur (at least I could when her first got it )

Yeah, I just get all kung fu on their asses. Wii sports is a fun drinking game, and one night a friend and I were boxing - we were both pretty tipsy, and my BF looked at me and started laughing because I started kicking like crazy (there is no kicking)

I have video of all of us wasted playing wii sports, it was pretty fun to watch when we were sober.

I finally got the stupid fish. Yeah, I was in the right place, I just can't fish to save my life. I figured out that you have to tug the line when they pull to hook them, then pull the f*cker up.

I agree, I hated the burning wagon thing. That sucked. The rest of the game has been pretty fun. I've always liked the Zelda games, and this one is probably the coolest.

@ Tony and Dave. I do need to get my Kawi out more often. I was actually stuck at home working because of Hurricane Dean, so I multi-tasked.

You know, I have this wedding thing coming up and one of the places we registered is Target. I bet I could sneak an Xbox 360 on the list. And if no one buys it for us then we get a discount on it after the wedding.
