I put this in the geek forum cause if you read this series you're a geek. Also, if you read this series you're probably pretty upset that Robert Jordan passed away before finishing this MASSIVE story.

Personally I think the series grew wildly out of control and jumped the shark several books ago. I can't even keep the characters straight and can't remember if I read through book 10 or just through 9 of them.

RIP

I started reading them, and gave up after 6 or 7 of them, as they never seemed to end, and yeah, forgot who someone was by the time i read about them again

I read them all. However it isn't the saddest day the man was so dedicated he committed all the plot points and massive amounts of detail to tape before he died. It was said that it would take a team of authors to get the info on the tape to paper in order for his wife to finish the book.

Sad to hear about that. But damn he still wasn't done. It started to get boring for me at about number 7. I could barley finish the 9th one. Each of his books was 700 plus pages and I hate reading.

His detail in descriptions was amazing.
