Programming logitech harmony remotes

I went through the menu's but couldn't really find this anywhere. When you start an activity, it turns on all the devices, sets the inputs, etc...Generally when I want to play a video game, my tv and receiver are already on. All I need is for the remote to switch the sources on those and turn the 360 on. Anyone ever set anything up like that? Basically I just want to leave the "turn on device" part out for the tv and receiver since that would only turn them off.

Hey Mike. I have the Harmony 688 and love it. They all program the same though.

The funtion you are asking for should happen automatically. On mine assuming everything is off, if I hit "watch tv" my TV, cable box, and audio receiver turn on. If I then hit a function like "play game" it will just leave my tv and receiver on, turn off my cable box, and turn on my xbox.

If yours is doing something different, let me know more and I'll double check everything and see if there is an option i forgot about that I changed.

My 880 works the same as Dramas. It does not turn anything off when I hit "Play DVD" all it does is switch inputs.
