Nintendo

Does anyone know of someone who has a working Nintendo game unit (the original that is) that is willing to sell it. Also do they have Super Mario Bros. (all of them if possible) and as a bonus maybe even Contra?

Do these even exist in working condition? They were having the freeze up problem and having to use forced air on the game cartridge to get it to work.

Just a question.

(sorry if I am kind of rambling)

I can't remember the sites, but you don't need one if you want to play the games and the system. In college I downloaded the nintendo games, which were less than 1 meg , and played them on my computer with a computer control pad. I loved playing Punch Out. I will try to find those sites for you. This also works with Super Nintendo, I used to play Killer Instinct all the time.

I just bought the original Nintendo off ebay for $20 and it came with a few games. Works great!! If you have problems with the games not playing, then try replacing the 72 pin.

I'll grant you zelda, punch out, and tmnt. However these arent as essential as the others. Though tmnt ranks really f-ing high.

If you buy an original NES of ebay, buy a new 72 pin connector as well and replace it. I'm pretty sure they make solderless ones now that work great.

Since Nintendo's license ran out and others can make the same hardware, aren't there new NES systems out now?

you're wrong, I just called up God(we're tight like that). He told me that he'd rank excitebike higher than paperboy and he doesnt even consider excitebike an essential, though it's close.

Zelda is one of the top essentials!! You cannot have a nes, and no zelda, that's just wrong.

Buy a 72 pin for a few bucks and it will stop all that crap from happening... Here's one of many off ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Replacement-...QQcmdZViewItem

My daughter finally got past the first level on Super Mario and she is so excited!!! lol. Only took her like 200 tries though!

I've got the Nintendo and most of the games mentioned except Contra, pissed off that my brother traded that one. I also have the huge advantage controller and the game genie with game codes book. I should hook it up to the 52" one of these days and play a little bit.

as I've mention in the xbox gamertags thread I suck at gaming. With game genie I still have never beaten SMB

Just get a regular xbox and a Xecuter mod chip. I have every single NES (including Bubble Bath Babes) SNES, Sega, N64, Atari, mame, and whatever else all on a 300 gig.

If you need help installing it, I can do it.

Also, Slayer's evo-x autoinstaller is the best for the dashboard software.

I've got super dodge ball...one of the greatest games ever. And rep for the NES 72 pin connector link.

Oh, I've got a shoe box full of NES games..and yeah, contra is one of them. No, I"m not parting with it. I've got Final Fantasy I'd be willing to get rid of though.
