I'm sure it will cost an arm and a leg if it ever becomes available to the public.

Neat but they are missing the point. The sick lean angles these guys get is one of the coolest things.

I know minimizing lean is one of the main things we work on but who can deny seeing Nicky lean a bike what 66 degrees on it's side is an amazing thing to see

That lean angle is nuts. And to think he did all of that with a semi busted up leg still. I am not worthy..............

Remember folks, they are not on the same size wheels that all of us are. Smaller wheel, same size tire (roughly) = more traction at lean.

Impressive as heck though.

I thought it was 60 degrees the max lean angle possible on a dry track.

And like 45 on wet for these guys

Max lean angle is a moving target, depends on the track, conditions, rider, tire, etc etc etc.

Neat perspective but I still prefer standard view. That gyroscopic shit doesn't get my hear pounding like the regular camera does. I catch myself leaning in my chair when watching regular moto vids but this new shit makes me feel like I'm just sitting on my couch vegetating.

I know I am biased but I think it's the cutest thing in the world when I show my daughter onboard video - she sits in my lap and leans left and right with the bike making rrrrrrrrrrroooom noises.

the cameras those gp guys have do one very important and very difficult thing a gopro doesn't do.

Live feed. They stream their data directly up the the helicopter circling the track so it can be inserted into the broadcast.

When you think about how much data is involved in high def video and the fact that they are (i believe) still using line of site to send it up, coupled by how small the rigs and data transport stuff is.. it's pretty impressive.

A HD GoPro is writing somewhere between 60mb (in SD) and 120mb a minute (720/60fps) of video to the card. Look how long it takes to upload that to a website or process it on your computer.
