I guess if you don't mind dremeling pieces of brand new bodywork to make them fit and forcing them into place and also having your painter charge you extra becasue of the shitty surface they have to sand the sh!t out of before they paint then yeah its a half way decent deal.

That's a pretty good deal. Hot Bodies race plastics crash well. This I know.

Hey, at least HotBodies isn't the worst stuff out there, there are 3-4 worse ones available.

Pretty much the truth about their plastics. I was lucky enough to get mine from a guy who already painted and fitted them on the bike. There are better plastics out there. My next set will be Sharkskinz.

FWIW, If I had to pay full price then I would much rather have Armor Bodies or Shark Skinz. However, for getting a 2 for 1 deal and being able to either have a spare set or sell off the other set to recoup a decent chunk of change, it seems like a pretty decent deal to me.

This deal with Hotbodies is back on for 2011. They posted it on WERA. I called Hotbodies and they said the sale price they will pass to CCS, WERA and other licensed racers. Even at the regular price of 650 its a deal for two full sets.

They also said the pricing/sale is being passed to their dealers so you should be able to get them for your local place too...

CP make it happen.

My sharkskins have been tossed down the track more times than I have ridden the track, and they still fit well, and repair nicely. If I find a 848 Duc for 3k, I know what brand plastics I want.

Anyone need bodywork for a Ducati/GSXR or SV 650. I can make any of those work on the SV 650 race bike I am building.

Sounds good. BTW I need the contact info for that guys about the Duc maint. Once I get the bike back from him I will yank off the mirrors and give them to ya and grab the bodywork.
