Road America June 2011

So who is heading to RA this year?

I will be up there for the STT LED day Thursday June 2nd and then I will be working in the pits all weekend on the trackdaymag.com team. A good friend Dave Vaughn is going to make the attempt to qualify in the 600 class. The Monday tuesday following that STT has the track as well.

The following weekend the whole Resurrection crew will be at the AHRMA event. We are racing a 78 CB550 in Vintagage Middleweight Superbike.

Who is heading up there? Are you guys camping? What's the plan?

I plan to ride up there for the day on Sunday June 5 to take in the days racing. That will depnd on how I feel after the wedding I'll be attending on Saturday and the weather.

I'll be there for the weekend for the AHRMA event. I plan to compete in the Saturday VMX in the Old farts class on my BSA B50 MX and possibly the Sunday Observed Trials event on either my RL Suzuki or TY Yamaha if I'm not too sore from the MX. I have a room booked in Plymouth.
I'll make a point of stopping by in the road race pits to wish your team good luck.

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!
