In need of new leather suit

I just found out I need a new leather suit. It was lent out to a friend of a friend and he wadded up a new KTM during demo days at Mid-Ohio 4 laps in. I guess he broke his arm and for that, they cut the damn suit off. WTF?

The previous suit was a Komodo. I really liked it. It held up well to a few get offs and the protection was crazy. CE armor over padding over padding. Fully perf'd too. Which is something I'd want again. Working with $600 of his money and maybe a bit more of mine if I find something I must have. I believe I'm a 42 but honestly I can't remember. Jacket at home is a 42 but for some reason I think I might be a 46. 6' 175lbs.
Always, what should I get?

6' 175lbs I'd guess you are a 44 for most brands.

well i haven't seen the result of the cutting. honestly, if i borrowed someone's suits and had to get cut out of it, i wouldn't feel right repairing and just handing it back to them. the suit saved my ass, or in this case his ass, and therefore that's worth something. you bring it back the way you got it or your replace what you broke. seeing as it was my suit, i'll take a new(er) one.

Sounds like your friend had a good weeked. Could have been worse, could have been your bike.

Why not checkout Dianese Store? They posted some closeouts awhile back and still might have something left.

Not sure about that exact suit, but most Teknic suits run small. My suit is a 46, but every other brand I've tried on, I'm a 44.

Typically they run 1-2 sizes small.
