Pedo vans are where it's at. We just put a mount on the back of the van for the scooter. So I can fit 2 bikes in there and the scooter on the back. The rig swings open so i can still get in the back doors without unloading the scooter.

Hmm.. If it gives us all another chance to ride nearly every weekend then sure why not, it'd be nice to have your pick to go to pretty much any midwest track every weekend (of course when none of us are working at our own events).. guess we'll play the wait & see card

Nice, I have to pull my scooter rack out of the holder on the trailer to unload the bikes.

Is there money to be made ??

Or are there people with hurt feelings thinking they can do it better?

Flood the market with options and somebody will be going out of business.Or cutting cost to be profitable.

We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection

I can understand a group of friends getting together and renting out the race track just for themselves a couple times a year. If you get enough people to commit to cover the cost that's great. The other people who pay on top of that is a profit. But I have a hard time believing an actual "New trackday org" is going to come out of the wood work and be able to make it. For Christ sake... STT and NESBA have a hard time filling up some events. The important part is that the org pays the bill to the track. As an org you book a date at a track with a down payment. You give your word or sign a document that you will pay in full once enough customers are gathered that have paid. If the org can't pay in full the track is in a bind because they could have reserved those dates to another org (cars or bikes) that can pay the bill.

Like I said, I can understand a group of friends renting out the track a couple times a year. But to say a new trackday org is emerging is kind of far fetched in my opinion. Good for them if they make it happen. And hopefully it isn't just blackhawk. Blah!

great point as well, economy has played a big part in events not filled up & we really don't want to make it less if we don't have to

I'm leaving for Barber right after work. I'll snap a picture with everything loaded up. Gus's brother in law made it years ago. I was designed to go on his van. I stole it off the side of his garage and Joe mounted it to my van. I busted by shin on the motherfucker hard last night.

who ever it is I hope they have money. I can assure whom ever it is the track org business is not a get rich game at all. Honestly, I wouldn't own one. Good luck in your endeavors (who ever that may be).

That's funny. We woke up one morning camping at Road America. My buddy Paul's bike was laying on it's side. I looked to Gus and said "Should we pick it up?" He said "It really can't fall any further can it?"
