Okay Dave and Jon,

Give us some dirt on Jennings. We all wanna know Favorite turns, worth the drive, etc. This is definately on the hit list next year. Maybe a good closing location.

And WOW, look at Dave's avatar. That is one fine looking gas tank, drain plug and front sprocket cover you've got there

Well first of all yes THANKS GROVER!! Huge THANKS! If it weren't for you I wouldn't have been able to make it. Then thanks to Phozed for bringing the key over, then well you get the idea...

We headed down Thursday night, and the drive was a bit brutal. After loading all the gear, food, the bikes, clothes, drinks everything else we attached the camper and we're off. We ended up getting down there Friday afternoon setup camp, and ezup. Luckily we had plenty of time to relax and get a good nights sleep before Saturday.

First off all the facilities are pretty cool cement slabs in a 10x10 configuration perfect for pit areas. Power outlets pretty regularly provided. They ran things really smoothly and quickly. Getting groups out far faster than any other track day I've been to.

The track, IT'S SWEET! First section is extremely fast, then the back section is really tight. It's also very flowing so if you blow one turn you just blew the next 3-4. Saturday and Sunday were great weather, Monday wound up raining but hey I like the rain.

Either way my best lap down there was a 1:29:something have to check the lap timer don't remember the tenths. Short straight made it easy to keep up or pass bigger bikes. Definitely worth the trip, and will definitely be going back. After I get parts replinished and all.

Oh yeah and here is my favorite pic from the trip.

Dave,

Are you still going to swap front ends?

Dave forgot to mention the apex and turn in points. Big red dots at the apex and the exit of the turn. The turn in had an arrow in the direction and the bend. Think MotoGp for the xbox. If you can connect the dots you have a good line through the track. Takes a lot of the guess work out for us beginners. As for the beginner group it was run very different. The control riders were in stealth mode. The only time you thought you saw one was when they went past you. All and all very safe riding.

Plus I got a free pair of Pirelli dragon slicks. All I gota say is there's some really nice guys down there.

I give it 2 thumbs up and will be going back

I am, but not on this SV I have a spare frame that I'm going to put the GSXR front end onto. Already got everything I need. One of the guys on the svrider board has a bearing that when you use it everything bolts right up.

Also just ordered a swingarm for it and waiting on a subframe. So soon the spare rolling chassis will take form. Oh yeah have to get spacers made for the GSXR rear wheel too.

Yeah those markers were really nice and accurate too.

We'll definitely be heading back there next year. Good way to extend the track season.

You're moving from there to here? ARE YOU NUTZ!

So were you riding on Monday or just hanging out? If you were riding what group were you in and what bike were you riding. If you were in Advanced I probably didn't see you since southern guys seem to in general be faster than us northern guys who only get to ride half the year. Well that is if we don't travel to Jennings to ride.

Anyway welcome to the board and welcome to the freezing cold.

Well let's see you don't have to work and you race, ok MOVE wherever she says.

Well hope to see you at some local tracks come race season. If you are AM still we will be racing the same classes. Assuming you race with CCS which is likely since they run at blackhawk which is pretty much the local track up here.
