Cell Phone Service at the Track

Specifically at Blackhawk and Road America. Both T-Mobile phones we have don't work. If you wander around for 15 minutes you can find a very weak one but it does not hold. I had zero bars in the new 2nd story pavilion. It seems to have gotten worse in the last few years and I can't even send a text out of Blackhawk.

Looking at Verizon but I'm curious if they work there. I know at least one service works well there, I just don't know which one.

What kind of phone do you have? Granted, I haven't been to BHF in ages, but I remember the second time I went there with a quad band phone, it was actually usable (t-mobile as well)

HTC G2 and HTC sensation. Before BB Curve and Bold. It seemed better as recent as last year. You could get a signal by moving about 15 feet. 3 weeks ago I literally spend 15 minutes trying to find something.

Do a battery reset upon arrival and Call tmobile to let them know also so they can adjust the towers in that area. They dont know there's an issue until someone speaks up.

I have AT&T and I get decent service at Blackhawk. Texts and calls usually go through, but internet is super slow. Road America worked fine for me when I was the AMA races at RA.

Cell service

I have a property near Blackhawk and USCellular is great. Many people in the area say its best there . good at RA too.

Ck out my place 30 miles from Blackhawk, rent it for the night better than camping.
