Blackhawk Farms Raceway - July 6/7

Blackhawk Farms in July
We heard that some of you hooligans like Blackhawk Farms...

Come on out for a great weekend at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Located in South Beloit, IL. Yes we're new, but you will see a LOT of very familiar faces helping to get this organization started. STKR aka Jim Foreman, Ron Hix, Brian Blume, Alan Fedderson, Jeff Taylor, Matt Granzow, Eric Levita, Chad Trank, Jeff Selbert, Dick Phillips, Mike Coisman, Tom Shaw, Bubba Conolty... And, we're working on a few more

We do what we do because we love motorcycles, we enjoy spending time with our friends/extended family at racetracks and we have a passion for teaching riders how to safely push their limits.

www.blackhawkfarms.com

Three group format with 20 minute sessions.

Red Group is for street experienced riders and, riders with some of track experience who are looking for a moderate pace. Passing limited to straights.
White Group is for track experienced riders who are familiar with the flags, pit in/out procedures and know the track configuration. Passing on straights and on outside in turns.
Blue Group is for track day veterans and licensed racers. The pace will be fast with passing allowed in every section of the track.

I'll have to see if anyone I know from work has a canopy I can borrow for the weekend. I'm hoping someone does!

Also does anyone know if I'll be able to string up a hammock or should I just bring a tent? I guess worst case scenario I can just drive home and back

MJ, will there be trackside suspension support? If so, who might it be?

Quick update
It's looking like a pretty low turnout for this weekend. Bad for us. Good for you. It'll be a great opportunity for coaching and you'll have a wide open track

Yeah...Gotta get the wife working on some sides but more likely some deserts. Maybe brownies and or rice crispy treats.
