My drill weekend naturally changed to that weekend. I will contact the platoon sergeant there and ask for that weekend off. It's really up to him, but even if I have to remain unpaid I'll still do it. I should be able to get it off, especially since we've been planning this for months.

Do you have everything worked out on this. Let me know what/how may vehicals and I could section off a dedicated place. Either on the lower level just off the main building or the next level up closer to the bath/shower facilities. That is assuming if you want to hang around Jimgofast all weekend.

Also last time I went to Barber, they charged a nominal camping fee for motorhomes.

Hey, Swerve, if you're interested maybe we can work something out. I've got a 3 bike enclosed trailer and so far its just myself and kneeinpain going down. If we split the gas money all three of us could use my trailer and your RV. Wha-dya-think?

Grover...I just got off the horn with your drill seargant. He said the director of Homeland Security approved these dates for you. Actually they both felt that the country will be more secure if you are in Alabama.

Hey Garth....

We would greatly appreciate you reserving space for at least one fat RV (30') and a 15' trailer. Im thinking we are going to want to plug in to some electrical access. The main building sounds better since we have bathroom/shower in the RV.

Who's the souteast director?...Id like to chat with him some before the trip.

We also plan to videotape the whole trip...so stay tuned for some candid coverage.

I booked my day yesterday. Still evaluating options for getting the bike and myself down there. I should be able to get the time off Army stuff.

*bump*

I'm in the clear, good to go! How many days?

Chris, I'll take the trailer spot, now if the weather will cooperate so I can work on the bike w/o a space heater in the garage!

Including today there are 43 days left until we head out. And the spot is yours.

We all need to start talking about where to meet up to convoy down there.

Grover and I are coming from my place in Naperville... I-88 and IL 59. Tom's bike is going down with another guy. He's got to fly down and I needed someone to help with the driving. But as I understand it, he IS going.
