I like it better. The large size was getting awfully thin. I'm afraid they are on hard times like pretty much everyone. If you guys want a good racing magazine that covers the local boys, national, and international, consider subscribing to RRWorld. It's pretty cheap.

Lately its my favorite mag.

Last coupla issues might have been timing. It was kinda the end of the off-season beginning of the new one so that might play into it being a little thinner.

it being regular magazine size might help to getting it out to stores as well

I thought it was my copy of RRX at first, but no, RRW shrunk. I like the small size better. Easier to read on the train in the morning.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Definitely like the new format better. Seems a little better put together too. The larger format after reading them enough times the binding (just staples) would start to fall apart. The new one feels like it will take multiple readings without falling apart.
