Anybody else watch the ice racing on the local access channel ?

They're doing ice racing now but they do road racing as well
My neighbor records it for me.
Pretty cool during this motorcycle racing dry spell

He had a helmet cam on this week. Looked like fun.

There is a TV Schedule here for anyone interested

I went to Lake Koshakong (or however the hell you spell it) and watched some ice racing in February. Cool to watch, just like Flat trac racing.

I'd like to buy some studded tires for the XR for the winter, or stud my own tires. I didn't catch the special though

I guess its a weekly... the last 2 weeks they've had ice racing.. I don't know whats on this wednesday's program...

Yeah it did look like flat track racing..... Probably a lot of fun for the riders but really cold for the spectators... unless you watched from your truck or something....

I thought it was pretty funny that they were using left over christmas trees for markers

yes it is weekly and Dan has all types of racing on the show. He will follow the entire WERA endurance series that we race in and then in the off season he flat tracks, enduro's and ice races .
He films it all with his helmet cam and the big camera too.

Hope to see you guy's at the free Team Chicago school at Grattan this weekend!

Now thats cold

Just curious.
In the picture of the bike the fenders are really far down i
sometimes I see a cage around the front one. why is it like that?

I was going to go to the Grattan school but as it turns out CCS doesn't accept the vouchers from the Team Chicago school.
So I'm going to go to another one.

I do want to get to Grattan though.
