when your paid to promote a product, your expected to behave in a manner that will not tarnish the products image. though a harsh punishment, he has no one to blame but himself. its a pitty the guy really can ride!

There was a good writeup on it (I think in RRW) saying how he would have fit in well 10 -20 years ago when many riders would be big partiers after the races,(with less media coverage) But now with things being more politically correct (and the media watching every move)this is a big no no... there were comparisons of Babe Ruth being hung-over or still buzzed from the night before at the plate.

I think he had lots of chances and dropped the ball.
Kinda sad.. he's a talented rider.

Still, Thats gotta hurt.
