Got Trailer Space? Ken's BHF Day 5/24

Figure now's as good a time as any to start the begging. Looking for anyone with free space headed that way. I'm a good passenger (just ask Grasshopper! - on second thought, don't). Name your price. In addition to gas $ etc. I have access to a sweet collapsable tent, and a "slightly used" ez-up!

Proximity to the city is preferred, but not required. I can head up Sunday night, or Monday morning - whichever works for you!

Don't miss this chance to get one step closer to Heaven - or at least prolong your trip to Hell. Do a good deed today!

Thanks all.

Sorry bud! I thought they were going to be busy installing the entertainment center/hot tub/stripper pole that weekend. My bad. Pick me up at the house.

...oh crap. Here it comes. Anyone driving through Indy in the next two weeks?? Have a thing for funny accents?

Buy a truck already!

Talk to Ken - I'm pretty sure there's room. Hope to see you out there. (preferably on Sunday night so I have someone to drink with)

i understand you feel threatned by me, you being only moderately handsome and not equipped with my outrageous accent. Also, your failure to get your knee down may also be bugging you, but my old offer stands: you get the grass and other s$%ite from turn one off my bike, I'll let you have one of my kneepads. deal?!

On a further note, i do not feel i am in the intermediate range. i did have a funny dream the other night....fortunately my boxers weren't wet and I wasn't humping the pillow (ask me one day, it really happened) but i had been dreaming about riding on the track with an instructor behind me shouting 'predal pedal' and all I could think about was 'this damn thing is so heavy!'. So go work my twisted mind out!! Whatever, I need to get on the track pronto!

I did go to get a licence, but am stuck on a permit for 650 days. i feel like a 17yr old!

OMG! Is this the first legitimate reply to this thread?! I'm amazed!!

To answer your question 2wheel, I'm essentially at the corner of Fullerton and Racine in Lincoln Park. However, for the right offer (i.e. "any" offer) I can get the bike elsewhere.

Patryk - I'll hold you to that beer.

if i do get a van I'll swing by. However, it looks like either the van or the trackday, but not both. this being the case, swing down to indy and borrow it!
that makes no sense at all, does it?!

Hey, I doubt I'll be able to make it. If so any you have a ball you can mooch mine. You break it you bought it. PM me. Oh, it may take me a while to respond as I'm out of the country.

Blade Runner, how many bikes does it hold?

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Thanks for the offer though Blade! Hope you're enjoying your trip.

Underdog, what I was planning on is renting a pickup or van with a ball. Then we can get one bike in the bed of the vehicle and 3 on the trailer. What do you think? I'm sure some others going to the event will need bike transport as well.

Good thought. Only question is where you can rent a truck that will let you tow something. (I know U-haul frowns on it).

The saddest part is I found out this morning that I might not even be able to go thanks to stupid work... so it's every man/woman/Irishman for themselves again.

Good luck!
