In my wet dreams, you can call up 4&6 and ask them for the dyno sheet, it was dyno'd at 64hp. Probably be down to 60hp after I change out the air filter, but if you want to switch bikes and we'll see if it's hp that's cool with me.

I don't know enough about setup to really be able to give any feedback, so hopefully you aren't looking for that.

Maybe you could give me some about my bike, I basically bought it threw the shock on there, had 4&6 get the motor running and ride it. Oh yeah and Ed from Trackside Engineering setup the suspension for me. I couldn't tell you anything about the jetting it is running, the sprockets that are on there or anything like that.

Well, you don't seem to be having much trouble keeping up with the faster guys

Ahh but I do, take Brian TZDeSioux from here. He started at the back of the grid in the LWGP race, passed all the riders behind me, passed me, and the rider in front of me to finish 3rd in that race. He is running 19's I think. My best lap from this past weekend was a 1:23.020 so take that into consideration I still need to find 3 seconds, and that would only hold him off if he again started from the back of the grid and got held up in traffic. So there's plenty of work to do for me, and that's why I'm consulting the people that know how to do it. LC instructors.

Plus I think he was down into the 17's by end of last year. Hopefully I got his times right, he is kind my bar that I've set for myself to try and keep up with towards the end of this year.

Yeah I had some good finishes this weekend, but that was partially due to two of the top SV guys not being in the races, and every race except the supertwins the guy who finished in front of me was a good distance in front of me. I had fun, and that's what matters, but I still have areas I want to work on to hopefully get faster and more comfortable being faster. Things like running the same pace but just having left over attention to give to flags, watching the tower when I pass, keeping track of the gap between me and the guy in front of me and behind me, being able to safely and smoothly pass other rides. I've got a long list.

Why, Grover? The only reason that matters is, "BECAUSE IT'S FUN".

Club racing at the amateur level is all about learning and having fun. This is the "jumping-off point" - the "grassroots" of racing. There is always someone out there just a little bit faster or slower than you... chasing those slightly-faster people will help you get faster yourself. As you get faster, your leaders will change and you will end up with better and better finishes.

Kim, I might be there. I'm the guy with the red/black sv am#43 that you helped push up into my truck. Thanks again for the help. I wasn't too coherent at that time...in fact I think my head started to clear yesterday. I had my bell rung pretty hard when I went down in t7. I was leading GTL until I had gotten stuffed on a pretty good block pass on the last lap t7. I don't think my finance is too thrilled about it though. She has now witnessed a bad highside, a lowside and a superman over the handelbars. I've got a pretty bad shiner on my left eve that doesn't look too good for me at work.

Do they have a LC class on Sunday. I am busy w/ graduating seniors until 2am early Sat. morning. I could make it to LC on Sat, but I'd only have about 2 hours of sleep. Don't want to get on the bike w/ sleep deprivation.

Doc - Learning Curves runs their licensing school on Saturday. An alternative would be VRS - I believe their program is held on Mondays following race weekends at Blackhawk this year.

Kal - I'm glad to hear that you're feeling a little better! Yes, you looked pretty rough the other day... that eye was SCARY! Your fiancee seemed to be taking your 'aerobatics' pretty well. I'd say you've met your quota for now - the rest of your season should be "incident free"!

That is wrong on too many levels. I can't even believe I'm responding

Looks like I'll look into Dave's School on Sunday or get no sleep for Saturday. I might just wait until later in the summer.
