Dunlop Group buy?!?!?

My Dunlop guy told me that the NEW gp208 A's will be avaible with in the next week or so and that we would sell them to me for $259 a set. However, if we do a group buy of atless 10 pairs of tires he would knock off 25%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats under $200 per pair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was telling me how the AMA guys had just finished testing on the new tires and how much they all liked them. Let me know if anyone is interested. I wan to get this going so I have new tires for the Blackhawk race May 29-30.

Oh hell yeah, at that price Mr. Cheap in IN!

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

I just hope he doesn't catch wind of this. Being that those prices are for licenced racers only. I'm just going to tell him there all me.

You can use them for the street, they are DOT legal, but you won't get many miles out of them. They are mainly designed for the track.

I'm out Dunlop doesn't make a 160 rear. But if there is another tire that can get tossed in with the deal let me know.

you can use them on the street but you'll be wasting your money.

different shape profile, heat up characteristics, wet grip, etc. etc on the tire are sufficiently different that you don't want to use these if the majority of your riding is on the street with one or two track days thrown in each riding season.

here's a lot of dunlop hype but also info on the different tires they make for street vs track use
