Water Wetter

There have been some posts here regarding Water Wetter. They say to "fill the radiator with Water Wetter"

I have a stupid question, but I have to ask it.

You don't fill the radiator with 100% Water Wetter right? You just use the recommended mixture of 1 ounce per quart of water. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks Crazy, that's what I thought, but why bottled/distilled water?

no sediment or minerals. that shit settles out over time and will gunk up your coolant system.

NOT BOTTLED....make sure it's distilled. Tap water has minerals and stuff in it, and so does bottled or drinking water. Distilled water is pure and you won't chance anything being in there that could cause corosion.

I've personally seen lots of examples of tap water used in cooling systems. Trust me, don't put that shit that comes out of the tap in your cooling system. You'll have little ground up white flaky crap beating the hell out of your radiator tubes. And you can buy a Lexus OE radiator for less than a motorcycle radiator from a dealer.
