You'd rather watch Trials than the AMA Superbikes?

You're kidding right? You can always watch the race on tape, watching a track day on tape just isn't the same.

BTW, I won't be doing either

Grasshopper,

You must have never seen anyone ride professional trials before live in your backyard. Watching riders literally jump 12' in the air when you are less then 20' away with a camera in hand is truly amazing.

Plus I don't care to hear anything from whiney little Mladin anymore then I have to. I gave up on AMA several years back. MotoGP is another story though. Road America is one hell of a nice track for spectating though. Have fun.

Myself and a friend will be there. I would rather spend the $60 for tickets on a track day. Plus I hate RA for veiwing a race you can not see much of the track from any one spot. Its better on TV.

I totally agree with you on the talent of trials riders. IMOA, they are probably the most talented and gifted riders. I've seen a little bit of some amatuer stuff but nothing pro.

It's too bad that has to conflict with the AMA races and festivities because I would consider coming. May be another time my friend.

Sorry we basterdized your thread Rrash. Have fun in Michigan. Shiny side up rubber side down

Watch out for turn 5, it bit me in the ass last year. My thumb and wrist are still fucked up from that crash

I'll be at Gateway for a LP USA track day. $70 for licenced racers or you need a remembership $25 plus $100 for the track day.

I was torn between going to RA or to the track day...

But then I looked at my checking account, and am doing neither one.

Damn medical bills!
