Phozed, VTR996, Kim are riding on the 12th on Mark's Honda Hawk in the 3 hour endurance race and VTR996's brother and I will be on another Hawk. Should be interesting viewing, watching 3 guys over 6'4" and 200+ lbs cramming on to a Hawk for 3 hours...

Hopefully John will bring my bike up on Saturday night and I can run the HW/UL/ST races on Sunday. With a little luck, maybe my brain will be fooled into thinking I'm still on the baby Hawk!

How exactly is that working? Since I know the Endurance races are the same format as Fasttraxx is the whole weekend still setup and run by them, but now just as part of CCS, is it a points weekend for CCS? It's confusing about the different orgs being kind of tied together.

From what I can tell, Fasttrax has been "absorbed" into CCS and is now part of the Great Lakes region, so there will be GL points. I've been trying to find an event schedule for the weekend (which would help clarify what's really going on) but haven't tracked it down yet.

Good question

As far as I've been told...Fasttrax runs the Great Lakes region events using the Fasttrax format (school/endurance race on Sat/Sprints on Sunday). And when an event is multi-region CCS runs the show using the usual format.

Of course I'm probably wrong.

Does that mean we could see endurance events at other tracks and as a regular CCS event?

Kimmy, remember, you have to beat the piss out of the hawk. I think it's actually in some rulebook

I promise to flog it mercilessly no matter how much it begs. I learned a few things at LCR on Monday, too.
