NESBA vs STT

I am getting ready for my first track day. NESBA event at Blackhawk Farms on June 26th. So I've been looking into Midwest tracks and track day organizations.

Anyway, NESBA charges a membership fee of $75 and then each event runs about $160 per day.

STT charges $25 per year and about the same per event.

Other than the fact that NESBA has a web forum on their site, what is the difference between these organizations? Which is better to join if you only join one? What faults if any are there for either of these?

STT's begginer group has a classroom session after every session. NESBA only has one classroom session in the morning.

IMO STT is the better one to goto for your first track day.

I'm not short. I'm aerodynamically efficient.

Also remember you have to pay a gate fee with STT, where as Nesba you don't. June ninth we be my first STT day.

Also being that your from the Peoria area. Nesba home that is Blackhawk, were STT is Gingerman or Gratten, MI.
