ROAD ATLANTA, Nesba, Sat. November 20 and Sunday November 21. O.K, so it's a little out the box. fabulous track, beautiful place.. i am having pace trailer build a large trailer and we can pay one of my guys to drive the trailer down unless someone else wants to do it. split the cost and ride a fabulous track. i was there with Kevin Schwantz for two days and it is a fun place. anyone?

considering that i first though of this yesterday, i can tell you this. it's about 800 miles from Chicago to Braselton, Georgia (each way) = 1600 + miles divided by 10 miles per gallon = 160 gal. of fuel @ $2.00 per gal = $320. for gas. plus if we have to pay anybody to drive it there. i have an excursion that might be available for the trip. ( maybe someone else has a decent tow vehicle to pull a long trailer) other than that flights, food, hotel and Nesba fee, ($180 each day) ANYWAY, i imagine that the trailer can hold at least 6 bikes, so whatever the cost is divided by 6.... at the least: $65. if our people drive, and at the most: $150 , if we pay someone to drive (per person)

First question: so who wants to go? second question: does anyone want to drive the trailer down there or should we pay someone?

No problem. I went to college in Pensacola, FL and drove I-65 all the time. I have also been up and down I-75 in Georgia.

The route I would take would be I-57 South to I-24 East to I-65 South which connects in Nashville.

Wayne, that's a mighty fine nice offer. also, I'll try one last shot at you. the only bikes that i have tracked are my street bikes with supercorsas, race pads and stainless brake lines. just ride within your limits. i'm have a feeling that when you get down there, you'll want to ride. but it is up to you. i kind of like mr. Ness' - ball and chain. i'm pretty sure that i saw them in miami with sonic youth and neil young. pretty good show eh? JR

JR,

I am still down for this. Willing to do the driving in exchange for the watching/hanging out.

I am not going to ride. If my plans go well I should have my '02 RC51 track bike by the beginning of January. I am sure I will be dying to ride but I'll live. Save it all up for next year.

I am going to see Social Distortion on Oct 30th at the Congress Theatre. Tiger Army and The Explosion are opening. Let me know if you are gonna go. I am having a bbq at my house before with some other friends that are going and you are welcome to come on out. PM for more info.

Wayne

we are cool with you doing the driving... along as your driving record is fairly decent and can handle a 30' trailer. but sounds great!... also, are there any social distortion tickets left?

driving record is clean. i mean no accidents. i can handle the trailer---only issue is backing those damn things up,,i can do but it just is a pain in the ass. i will just gas up where i can clearly see a route to pull out as opposed to backing out.

and yes there are still tickets for the sd concert..
