Jim, isn't that Assen? I recognize it from MotoGP2.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

(in my Jules Winfield/Samuel Jackson voice) So tell me again about the hash bar?

Is that nuerbergring?

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

the thought is for real, the issue at hand at the moment is Leen finding an organization that rents bikes for there events, be it a school or a track day event. this wont happen this year, but is a possiblity for next year. Leen is from Holland so we have a Tour guide if it goes down!!

Jim, I'm working on this "touring project". I'll keep you guys posted. Everything goes in the netherlands...

FYI From Assen to Nurnbergring is 3-4 hrs. depending on the Autobahn speed.

I should probably start a new thread instead of posting here, but I AM going to Der Fatherland in the fall with the editors of Motorcyclist Magazine. It's a tour of the Bavarian Alps through Gemany, Austria, Switzerland, et al. You can ride any bike in their stable, I selected a Ducati ST4. 1500 miles over 7 days culminated with a VIP tour of the Intermot Bike show in Munich. They may still have an opening. Anyone interested? (BTW, this isn't inexpensive. But how many chances are you going to get to do something like this?)
