Gratten track day Monday, July 5th

I'm thinking of doing the Limited Endurance Day at Gratten on July 5th. Hell, I may do July 4th as well. The LED cost $135 and only has two 20 minute sessions (lots of track time). Is anybody thinking of going? I'm not too cool with heading out there without a buddy or two. It's more fun and safer.

Think he meant there are only 2 groups..."I" and "A". This means something like 10 sessions rather than 7.

was actually going to see if anyone was going over the weekend for the 3rd & 4th.

I'm not sure about the 5th yet, is that usually a holiday (day after the 4th when it's on a weekend??). BUt I'll probably be there also. right now just getting the ride thing situated. Grove if you end up going for the weekend let me know if you can fit another bike

I'm not sure if even I'm going yet. My brother might be in town for that weekend or I may go down and visit him. This is just another option..

If others are going I might, I haven't run that track before.

Don't you have to pay a late fee by now ?

Yes, no B group on Monday. LED days are two sessions. I think they're 30 minutes each, I don't recall. July 3rd and 4th are regular 3 rider-group days, B, I and A. July 5th is the LED day.

I'll be there all three days.

Or just stop by and drop stuff in his belly pan and take bets to see how long it takes him to realize it's there.

Was just there for an LED yesterday. They had the tire truck there as well as the Ohlins suspension truck. Even Jack was there. But thirty minutes is a long time if you are out of shape. Luckily, you can always pit in and out when you need to.

I'll have amateur 142 Now, who stole my 241 number?

I'll be doing Monday for sure it looks like, may do Sunday as well.

Kimmy, you up there this weekend for CR-ing or hanging out? We could use you on cornerworking. It would be weird though, having a cornerworker at Gratten that knows what to do!!

Well, it rained ALL morning, then it was 'right after lunch'. Turned into two hours after lunch. That's the way it goes sometime.

I got in 4 sessions, 2 in the rain, 2 in the dry. Came in a couple laps early on the last session, the entire track was a slip n slide.

We didn't put a wheel to the pavement until after 2pm local time. Ran to 6 pm local but the last couple sessions were wet.
