who has the fastest lap times at blackhawks?

well from CLSB?

not to brag or nothing, but maybe we can learn from each other?
i noticed after running "when i kept my pace up" me running 20-21 were almost an average if i wasnt fighting for posistion and best so far was a 19.3

i also noticed from the motovideo i got where i can do better and work less from holding the bike to tight to a line versus drifting out and using more of the track. that alone WHEN i get back out should shave 3 seconds off easy he said.

so i hope to run 18/19's atleast next time out.

Not 100% sure with this years crop of new additions to CLSB. But I would wager it would be Dano with a 1:16? Someone correct me on the actual lap time, but I'm pretty sure he's got the CLSB fast lap at BHF.

Ciao,

Dano was doing 1:13's last year with a dip into the 12's. Don't know about this year...

Fastest lap time for bikes at BHF is 1:07.3 held by a R1. Same guy did a 1:08-9 on a R6.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

DanO DOES IN FACT RUN 13's at Blackhawk.

Mine are slow 1:23.020 was my best lap.

Brian (TzDesouix) Runs 17's on the 250, G2G is low 18's or 17's on his SV. So there are some fast guys around here.

I don't have a lap timer so I can't make anything official here. But Chills was running behind me on my first "I" session and recorded a couple 1:29's. I guess that's not terribly fast but I'll take on a set of bt010's and being my 2nd track day ever.

Larry Denning had the 1:09.

My personal best was 1:26, last June. Hey, I never said I was fast!

I had the pleasure of sharing the track with G2G at the last LCR Advanced Rider School... he is sweet to watch... freakin' QUICK!

DanO's best around BHF is a 1:12.9x.

Mine so far is a 1:15.70 per the CCS laptime charts. I'm aiming to hit solid 1:13s the next time I'm out there (whether I can do it or not is another question... but I've got a lot of ideas I want to play with.)

Yep, Lots O' Fast people around here!

Now I just need to follow G2G in some practice sessions, in the LCR school there was one session I kept up with him, but the track wasn't dry. Once it dried, he disappeared into the sunset.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have been out of racing for a couple of years and did my first race a month or two ago at blackhawk. Also took the advance class of LCR a couple of weeks after that. I will be out there the weekend of 7/17-18th trying to improve. My goal is to beat Ed Key but on a pretty much stock SV it will be hard to do. Kim and LBK are you guys showing up at Blackhawk in a couple weeks if so I will see you there. BTW Kim I still need to get rid of those TLR rims you want them?

P.S. I was even lucky enough to be on 2wheel Tuesday last week Also a nice pick on the STT sight for Road America the pic was taken by Mr. Sliderphoto himself.

Steve is far too modest. He'll be giving Ed fits before too long!!!

Between the unexpected vet bills (Rusty's brother, Sanders has been in the hospital for nearly a week now - we're treating him for toxoplasmosis - he suddenly went blind last Wednesday and is having some other neurological issues) and deciding to rehab the house, I'm pretty much done for the season. Look for me waving a flag in your favorite corner tho!

John says we still need one more set of wheels... shoot me a PM or call or something, I forgot how much you wanted for 'em.

Will I be there YES ABSOLUTELY! This break from not doing Topeka has been way too long. I'm starting to Jones.

Steve, I can't wait to see it when you beat him and I'm sure it won't be long. I am serious about riding behind you and learning, that is if there is an opportunity at the track in practice or something like that that you'd be willing to just slow down a bit. If I keep you in sight it helps, because I watch a lot of what you are doing and it gives me ideas as to where I can make up the precious seconds I'm missing right now.

See you out there on the 17th/18th

My best lap was this year. 1:24:5. I was happy enough with that. What makes me happy is how following the faster CLSB'ers lines, and taking the faster CLSB'ers advice took 1-2 seconds off my fastest lap every session out. All you guys rock, and are so helpful to us track newbies. Now that I've kissed some ass, someone has to help me into the 1:20:00's :P

Not the last time I followed you Mr. Bold on the Brakes!

I've got down around 1:32:xx I think. On an SV with street tires and no motor mods aside from exhaust. I'm hoping a day with Team Vision-sports will get rid of several of those pesky seconds. I still haven't had this massive clarity that is supposed to happen.
