POST KENS 7/12 track day.

AWESOME TIME!!!!!!

i will keep this short since i am so darn tired and in pain right now, from i think not drinking enough.

1st off i thank all the control riders.
2nd i thank all the riders and family members that came, you guys made it a darn good day.

from my report there was 3 guys that went down

chills, crx18, boxuin.

all are ok, they all either walked there bike in or drive it in.

glad you guys are doing good, boxuin, make sure you get your shoulder xray'ed atleast man.

other then that since 11am my rear tires on the right side was FUCKED, i did make corrections to my suspension, but the damage was to far gone. so instead i used my day to help others on the track, i know i worked with like 10 guys, and help you guys out, but the ones that stick in my head are v2ken, and mopar boy, you guys ROCKED after some tips! keep it up and remember what we talked about.

other then that i there was 3 run off and back on the track.

another thing too, ALOT of you guys are GETTING WAYYYY faster!

makes it tougher to c.r. too

well i will catch you later, feel free to talk, post pics, give me feed back on myself, the track day how it went, to the control riders.

thank all of you guys for making it so fun for me to keep doing these private track days.

As soon as I woke up, looked outside, was thinking *cough* I think I might be *puke* coming down with something.

Glad you all had a good time. With racing and pocketbikes, I couldn't swing the cash this time.

Hope the next one is as good!

The weather gave us a break and all went well.

I got a lot of good pictures. It's going to take a few days to get them sorted and posted. I'm not sure where they will be posted yet. Stay tuned for more information.

As ususal many showed definate improvement throughout the day. Congrats to all the B group members that got bumped to I.

Had a blast as always.

Had fun trying to chase G2G and Grasshopper on their SV's - had one of my better sessions following those guys.

Tires held up well. I'm really sold on these Diablo Corsas - got 3 track days these things (2 of which included CR duty - so it almost like 5 track days) and they still stick about as good as they did first day I got them !!! (Yes - I know I'm slow - but that's beside the point )

Thanks Ken for putting on a first-rate track day.

There was one fatality thought...................................

..... I ran over a chipmunk it the middle of turn 6 in one of the afternoon sessions. I was hoping the little guy would make it all the way across the track - but I accidentally squashed him with the front tire

I had a great time, Thx Ken for putting it together and all the CR's that helped out. I thought I was doing alright out there then a few CR's gave me some pointer which helped alot. The last 2 sesion I felt real good - really in the groove. But the combo of old street tires and a too much throtle coming out of 7 and the back end spun out and down I went. landed on my sholder/back, but it's felling alot better now. I'm really pissed about the helmet though - brand new and now it's all rashed. Oh well still had lots of fun. Thx G2G for all the help

I realized that as I was leaving .... that I didn't go around & say Hi to everyone like we normally do. Guess it was just too dang HOT to do much of anything (other than RIDE )

Glad everyone had a good time

Haha, you looked good out there for your first time, Cheyenne. I was following someone slower in whichever group that was, saw you go by, and had to catch up and watch.. and then I had to pass you 'cause your rear seat kept threatening to dislodge and come flying at me.

I had a great time as well and it was nice seeing a lot of new people and many of you again. Sorry I didn't get to meet more of you - but it was too hot to be too social.

Extra thanks to the CRs and Ken for making this a fun and productive learning session. I feel a LOT more confident!

That was Alex's FIRST track day ever (and he's been riding a sportbike for 2 months ) and he got bumped to "I". I must now take the time to mention that I nagged and nagged Alex to come to a CLSB track day and I wouldn't shut up until he agreed. Nice job bro! I'm proud!

Now me: This was my first time on the bike since the crash a month ago. I was SCARED SHITLESS. Can I still ride a sportbike without shitting my pants? My goal for the day was to get myself back to sportbike riding. Well session one, I was so afraid...By session two, I WAS BACK! The bike felt great, I remembered the track, and I know I did my best laptimes ever (I have no idea what they were though ) but I never expected to have such a good day.

Thanks Ken! And thanks Nick for working with me!

ODY,

This track day thing wer'e doing is a wonderful thing bro! I Knocked 2 seconds off my lap times yesterday and was running consistant 1:24s. I even got into a high 23. .

I had a blast control riding Beginner and helping people out. Thanks for the opportunity.

Rachel, I had a fun time working with you and making you twist that throttle open harder and faster. You;re looking good out there, and your faster than alot of people. You're definitely not Slowass anymore.

Maks, thanks for letting me use that lap timer for that session

Fun times man,

Great to see everyone, hang out, ride and have a good time.

We couldn't have asked for a better day to ride the race track.

LETS SEE THOSE PICTURES DAVE AND ROB.
