If it does , you can use Honda Polish to take off the residue. I used sticky tape last time, and no residue was left behind when I pealed it off.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I always use black duct tape and it's never been too much of a problem cleaning it off. As long as you unplug your lights, you should be fine.

Blue Painters tape, it's cheap and comes off really easy no residue or anything just peels right off. Can be found at any hardware store

I used painter's tape, then duct tape over it. Made removing it easy. Unplug the lights so you don't fry everything onto the lens.

Rob, these folks want to look good for the pictures that they will be taking. And a street bike with tape over the lens on the track is better than a track bike in the garage.
