oval track

i've never been to any track, and when i get a new bike next spring, i would like to go. got some questions.

where is there an oval track in chicagoland?

can anybody go?

cost?

if your talkin about our oval, it's not really atrack at all. Just a lot someone found to run the fiddy's and pocket bikes at, and there is no cost. I'm not good at giving directions, but I'm sure someone could if your still interested.

The optimist believes that we live in the best of all possible worlds...
The pessimist fears this to be true.

If you are referring to roadracing and not "50cc" screwing around...then you are at the right place.

Browse through the Nesba forum and you will read about many of the area tracks. Or check it out for yourself at NESBA

The closest track is just outside of Rochford...Blackhawkfarms in Rockton, IL.

i went to the NESBA website and that sounds awesome. wen i get my new bike next year, i will definitely go to these track events.

are all the bikes "track bikes" with slicks and all or can a streetbike easily be raced there??

also where is this track that you can race fiddys and pockets?

Plain old street bike will work for the NESBA and other trackday events. Sometimes in some groups they require you to drain antifreeze and replace with water, Also saftey wire your fill and oil drain plug. Very easy if you need help just ask anyone who has done these trackdays can help in a pinch.

Like Steve said....pretty much anything with two wheels and a motor can run with Nesba. There are some prep requirements for the Advanced group, but you should not have to worry about that for quite some time.

Check out the miini moto forum for racing 50s....
