Rob are you racing your F3 in Sportsman???

Isn't that bike too new? I swore my '93 F2 is one year too new to run HW Sportsman.

I'll be there.

Debating running GTO on Saturday. Doubtful I'll do it. If I do, I'll probably also run the Unlimited SS race too.

Pre-registered for the following on Sunday:
HW SS
HW SB
Unlim GP $$

Trying to get Thursday off so I can go play with Andy and Chachere at Rosno's...

Kim, you wouldn't have room in your rig for my, umm I mean Jim's F2? I will be out of town at a wedding in Iowa, but driving back to do the race. If my bike had a way up there, I could take my car to the wedding (much preferred over the van). That is if Jim releases it from impound.

Actually mine is a 93 F2 also with F3 plastic. Kevin Elliot stated since the bike is unchanged from the 92 version, its legal in HW sportsman. AS long as you dont have it built for superbike, you're fine.

Allen - Let me talk to John about it... we'd be going up on Thursday with the plan of staying straight thru Sunday, and would have to put it on the trailer, 'cuz there's a bench along one side of the van.

An incident early this morning led to an abrupt change of plans for me this weekend... no more racing for me this year.

http://home.earthlink.net/~omniglh/Pics

Bike was pushing and tucking all morning at BHF for the Rosno school, couldn't figure out why, decided to just "deal"... and 2nd session out, it bit me. Lowside in T4... which eventually turned into a pretty ugly tumble. I don't have the funds to get this thing back together by the weekend... anybody know a good aluminum welder?

Worst part, as the bike tucked, it pinched my foot between it, and the pavement (with my foot being upside-down.) The pavement made quick work of my boot - ate through the leather, my sock, and well, uh, the top of my foot. I'll spare any graphic details, and just say that it is VERY painful. Got to check out the ER at St. Anthony's In Rockford... oooh, ahhhh, fun fun. Oh well... it could've been worse... and crashing is part of attempting to go fast, price I pay I guess.

If I can walk on it (can't right now, it's killing me), I'll be up there pitting for DanO and friends... but no racing for me

DOH!

have some , it helps the healing processes (well ok, not really, but it might help dull the pain in the foot and numb the brain to the fact that you booboo'd a sweet track ride)

Thanks guys :- I'm kinda bummed my season is over, would've liked to get a liiiitle more tracktime in But that's ok, I'll get over it... in the meantime, I get to play pitcrew (which is almost as fun...)

DanO is racing 3 races tomorrow. 2 are 30-minute endurance races (GTO & GTU) and 1 sprint (Unlimited Supersport.) He's got 5 sprints on Sunday... MW SS/SB, HW SS/SB, and Unlimited GP. Should be a good weekend - in talking with Chachere yesterday, he "plans to win", and he'll be running one of Wyfel's 750s. So it looks like DanO will have his hands full

If anybody is swinging up - we're usually pitted down the front straight, past Kim and the tower. I'll probably be the guy in the white Kingpin Racing polo, hobbling all over myself.
